The birds are singing in the sky and so I play my music in the sun

Bloggen.

Blogging. I have just started blogging over 3 years because a former girlfriend had a blog and I liked the idea of it all an. So I have a little research on the internet what this thing is about. Whoosh, an account was created on blogspot and I could get started. Initially rather sparse now and then - blogging, oh, forget that I have a blog - blogging, no, not like now - blogging. At least I blog (almost) regularly.
It's fun to write down my thoughts and to get rid of public, to share ideas or inspiration. But beware - this thing is exactly a little dangerous - and now we're getting closer. Bloggers have already written about it, as it became known, some well-known blog site operators get warnings from some advocates. We know about the dangerous of using images of the internet. We find wonderfully fantastic images and include them in our blog. Some people declare the link to the source (via), this can be quite different. We are surely all informed about the importance of sources, but unfortunately here starts the dilemma.
Actually the consent of the author must be obtained if the image may be used on our own site or not.
Unfortunately, the images we integrate, for example, are already involved on another blog and thus we only specify the source of the blog, where we have found the image. But this is actually not true and does not reflect the true source. Also, we do not even know if the author has given the understanding that this image is free.
Many bloggers don't feel comfortabel and they scour their posts on not legally sound embedded images and delete them. It can happen basically every blogger.
For those who want to get more details about that thing, click here (really interesting!).
What do you think about this? What's about your blog, everything acceptable?

I like the outfit and good point. A local cafe in my place used my photos and did not even ask my permission and did not even link back to my blog. I felt violated with my rights and it's my photos. I do like the idea that they're using it but I should at least be given proper credit.

I would say when there's a link back to the owner of the pic it would be okay to use it but okay that are the laws and rules. Better to stick to them. Nice outfit dear and your hair is amazing !!! :) Have a fabby sunday ! XX Tani

I'm loving looking through your fabulous style! And yes...credit needs to be given where credit is due!!

While I love to give credit to where I found an image, say on another blog - so I can give them backlinks, But now I really always try to find the original source and make that the link. In the end the originator is the one that should be getting the credit. It would be terrible to get in trouble for something that really is done with good intentions. Like saying "i love this!" Why would anyone be mad about that?! I would never try to pass something off as my own that isn't and as a crafter I often find my work shown as DIY projects. It bugs me but it's just part of what happens. I think some people take it extreme in being upset about it and some bloggers aren't responsible. There just needs to be a balance and I try to maintain that.
